The Lot. 2187 US Army Denim Pullover from Warehouse & Co is a classic take on rare and hard-to-find vintage US Army denim pullover. Denim became a standard fabric used by the army as early as 1919, replacing the brown cotton duck work clothes that were previously issued. The pullover was standard issue until the 40s when a jacket with lower pockets and a buttoned up front replaced it.
Cut in Japan from a lightweight 8 oz denim, the Lot. 2187 features contrasting white stitching throughout as well as a button front using reproduction U.S. Army metal buttons. Two large utilitarian chest pockets have been paired with button cuff adjusters to alter fit.
This is unwashed and is expected to shrink 0.5" in the chest and shoulders, 1" in the sleeve and 1-1.5" in the length.
