Jelado 311W Painter Pants Vintage Finish
Inspired by owner Goto san's old vintage clothing store in Koenji, 'Sprout', this collection showcases items popular in his old store 20 + years ago.
The 311W is Jelado's answer to the classic Painter Pants of the 1940's, featuring a newly designed 10.5oz 'Last Resort' Jelt Denim fabric, specifically made for this collection.Â
This is a really limited pair and we've managed to get just five pairs! Each pair undergoes an intensive finishing process to recreate the character of a well-worn vintage original. Carefully applied distressing includes worn pocket openings, frayed hems and areas of fabric thinning, with hand and machine repairs reinforced by backing fabric where required.
A subtle grey-beige overdye adds depth to the indigo, replicating the rich patina developed through decades of wear. The finish is completed with hand-applied pigments, dyes and paint detailing, capturing the unique fades, repairs and signs of age found on authentic vintage denim.
A high rise with a straight fit throughout has been paired with a button fly, two large slanted front pockets with two rear pockets. Contrasting stitching is used throughout while a branded paper patch and woven patch on the waistband complete the look. Union tag sewn on inside of rear right pocket as homage to vintage pairs.
